Where it all began…
Jimmy Buffett dreamed of a vessel capable of turning overnight trips into day trips while keeping himself and guests comfortable and out of the elements—a boat that could cross to the Bahamas on choppy days or chase giant bluefin tuna in the canyons of the Northeast. With Merritt’s Boats and Engine Works and Freeman Boatworks, that vision came to life in collaboration with his longtime captain, Vinnie LaSorsa.
As word of the legendary custom build spread, fans wanted a way to connect with Jimmy Buffett’s dream boat and began asking for the apparel and gear worn by the Last Mango crew. The crew made that gear available online and committed profits from sales to charities they believe make a meaningful difference.
The goal is to make every Last Mango customer part of something bigger than a brand. A purchase welcomes you into the Last Mango family and joins the effort to support charities that make a difference—to collectively #SeeTheGoodSide.
